Front wheel lacing
Managed to lace the front wheel today unsupervised ? Got it to within 0.4mm runout ?
Cordless Tool Stand
My toolbox was overloaded so I made a stand for my cordless tools out of a bit of plywood I had left over.
Garage improvements
I got fed up with things rolling off the edge of my workbench so I added a border. Got my new secondhand vintage heater installed. Ready for some warm painting next weekend ?
Electric Starter Fixed
I bought a rebuild kit for the starter motor. Glad I did. The end cap bush was oval. I found the reason it stopped working. Someone had over tightened the terminal post and torn the main internal connector off at it rotated. Replaced bothe bushes, brushes, lubed bearing and soldered the internal conductor back to the terminal post. Took we 4 attempts to reassemble, adjusting end float, until it spun freely with a bench test. Re-installed it and the bike fired right up, instantly ?
Worn Gear Change Spindle
Surprisingly, this still works. I think I will be replacing it shortly.
2K Clear Coat
My order arrived.
I’m going to have a go at 2K clear and have ordered a new spray gun with regulator and water trap too.

CB350 Tinkering

I part exchanged the Silver CG110 plus some cash his way for this beauty ?
CG110 leaves
And it was gone. I traded it on a 1974 (maybe 1973) CB350. The seller of the CB350 is Christchurch based so we both had to pay for shipping either way. Hopefully the sadness of seeing this one go will be followed by much joy upon the arrival of the CB350 on Friday afternoon.
