Firewood cutting this weekend
We went to Tim and Tralees this weekend and cut heaps of firewood. All ready for winter now.
Ready for Aluminium Welding
Bought myself a bottle of Argon, some aluminium MIG wire and managed to scrounge some aluminium off cuts to practice on. The nice man at the welding supplies store also gave me a piece of folded stainless sheet to put on my workbench so it doesn’t catch fire ? the tears of shitty aluminium welds shall begin tomorrow ?
New Tool Box
I really was running out of space for my tools so I thought I would treat my self to a new tool box.
New LED’s are installed but one is faulty
We put up all the new LED’s today, all good except one. It flickers/flashes on shut down.
I’ve asked Banggood for a refund or replacement.
My Birthday Present
Ange got the photo of Manhattan I took mounted on canvas for my birthday. Awesome!
Bye Bye Xin2
A bit of a sad day today. We had to put one of our cats down. He was 17 years old had hyperthyroid problems, kidney problems and had been steadily losing weight. Over the last week he stopped eating and was vomiting a lot and there was blood in it. He became very lethergic and struggled to do anything.
We agonised about what to do for a few days and Ange decided it was time to put him out of his misery.
We took him to the SPCA this morning. It’s the first time I have witnessed an animal being put to sleep and it was all very gentle and kind. Seemed really odd that I could see almost the exact moment that his life left him and his pupils dialated.
We hope he has gone to cat heaven.
