i finally got the big bore kit fitted and re-assembled the engine without incident. A quick degrease and blast with the pressure washer then a fairly heavy coat of paint and once the paint dries it’s ready for installation.

Frame painted
Frame back from Sand blasting
Picked up the frame and bits and bobs from the sand blasters today. All primed and ready for a coat of gloss black and then a top coat of clear.
Painting
I cleaned up at painted the rear wheel and forks today. It took ages to mask up. Still got the front wheel to do.

Frame hoop for CB125T done
I got a frame hoop mandrel bent. I’m not sure it’s quite right, maybe too long?
Making a Wheels Lacing Jig
The spoked wheels I have found for the CB125T are a bit untidy and will need the hubs painted, new spokes and rims polished, so I have begun fabricating a wheel jig. I still need to get some M18 threaded rod and nuts so I can clamp the wheel in the jig. Time for me to learn how to lace wheels 🙂

New Battery Box
I made a new battery box today, removed the stock one and fitted pod air filters. I’ve also ordered a whole lot of main jets so I can get it jetted just right ?
Thinking it will be black
I tried the CG125 fuel tank on and it fits quite well.
I have now ordered a new black fuel tank and Honda wing badges to go on it.
Also thinking if ditching the air box and going with some pod air filters.
Next job is to find some spoked wheels for it. That’s going to be tricky….
